I have emailed Jill Nelson, who is the woman that I plan on interviewing for my topic on police brutality. If she gets back to me and is able to do the interview, then LET THE TAKING ACTION BEGIN!!!!
1. Police Brutality - intentional use of excessive force, usually physical, but potentially also in the form of verbal attacks and psychological intimidation.
2. Excessive Force - level of force unreasonable or unwarranted under the circumstances.
3. Baton - a shot thick stick used as a weapon, especially by police.
4. Suspect - to believe that somebody may have committed a crime or wrongdoing without having any proof.
5. Aggressive - showing a readiness or having a tendency to attack or do harm to others.
6. Protest - to express strong disapproval of or disagreement with something.
7. Endangerment - comprises several types of crimes involving that is wrongful and reckless or wanton, and likely to produce death or grievous bodily harm to another person.
8. Manslaughter - the unlawful killing of one person by another without advance planning.
9. Procedure - an established or correct method of doing something.
10. Assault/Battery - acts in a threatening manner to put another in fear or immediate harm.
